DEAR COLLEAGUES,

Welcome on behalf of our young team, organizing the 8th International Scientific Medical Conference for students and young doctors from 20th to 23rd October 2010 at the Medical University in the city of Pleven, Bulgaria.
The year 2010 has been proclaimed as the International Year of the Rapprochement of Cultures by UNESCO and UNO. We think that our scientific forum will be the intellectual environment to get together students and young doctors with their unique cultures and traditions from all over the world.

We believe that except for the educational and clinical experience, medicine leaves us a very important socially responsible and humane aim by will – granting and protecting Life, helping people, understanding and tolerating the differences.
We will be happy if the 8th Scientific Conference helps us to find the common ground, the words by which each one of us can express their innovatory ideas and originality, regardless of religion, culture and nationality.
